Stranger Things Season 01 episode 5
fifth episode of Stranger Things and the fifth episode of the first season is titled "The Flea and the Acrobat." Alison Tatlock wrote the script, and the Duffer Brothers directed it. The entire season debuted on Netflix on July 15, 2016, including this one.
Character action is ramped up in a way that initiates the relatively swift build-up to the narrative climax of season one in "The Flea and the Acrobat." Because it breaks from the first half of season one in so many new and original ways, Chapter Five is one of the more thrilling episodes. "The Flea and the Acrobat" pushes Stranger Things into a different plane altogether, all the while honouring the reoccurring themes of 1980s sci-fi and horror—the themes and conventions that formalise into the show's mise en scène genre mixing. While primal frequency switches towards battle over flight, character alterations feel earned despite their suddenness. The Duffer Brothers' directing and Alison Tatlock's well-paced script quickly altered the rules.
While Nancy and Jonathan confront the force that stole Will, Hopper breaks inside the lab. Mr. Clarke is asked by the boys how to go to an other dimension. Jim Hopper enters Hawkins National Laboratory covertly and attempts to infiltrate the lower, quarantined area but is apprehended by two guards. He renders them both helpless and goes down. After their son's death, Lonnie and Joyce Byers share a drink, and he tries to get her to go to counselling. Hopper discovers a child's bedroom with a drawing on the wall depicting the youngster being made to do something to a cat by their father. Dustin Henderson, Mike Wheeler, and Lucas Sinclair talk about what they heard Will say regarding his location, and Eleven says something like "upside down."
