The eleventh and third episode of the second season of Stranger Things is titled "The Pollywog." On October 27, 2017, it made its debut.Eleven becomes more and more impatient as Dustin takes on a bizarre new pet. Bob, who means well, pushes Will to face his concerns.

She walks out of the cottage during the day to search for Mike, furious that he is stalling.

Bob tells Will about a nightmare he had as a child and gives him courage to face his worries. Nancy convinces Jonathan to assist her in revealing the truth to Barb's parents. The following morning, she sets up a meeting with Barb's mother at a nearby park. Hopper presents Owens with proof that the blight originates in the lab. Owens agrees to investigate, but grudgingly. Dustin takes Dart to school, where he shows Will, Mike, Max, and Lucas. It dawns on Will that Dart is an upside-down person. Dart moults and escapes into the school, requiring a search as the group debates what to do with him. Meanwhile, while Eleven is searching for Dart, he stumbles onto Mike and Max. She is seeing them from a distance and sees them fighting.
