Stranger Things Season 03 episode 6

 

The sixth episode of Stranger Things' third season and the twenty-third episode overall is titled "E Pluribus Unum." The launch date was July 4, 2019.Eleven discovers where Billy has gone, and Dr. Alexei exposes what the Russians have been developing. Erica and Dustin pull off a daring rescue.

Steve Harrington, Dustin Henderson, Robin Buckley, and Erica Sinclair, standing beneath Starcourt Mall, observe the Russians holding the gate open before making their way out. Just as the guards discover them and alarms begin to sound, they realise that the guard Steve beat up has vanished. After being pursued around the base, they hole up in a room, with Dustin and Erica running away into the vents and Steve and Robin being apprehended. Nancy Wheeler runs from the monster composed of Bruce Lowe and Tom Holloway's bodies in the hospital, causing the skin on the back of Will Byers' neck to flare up. She locks herself in a room, but it turns into a goop that slips beneath the door. Arriving before it can kill her, Eleven discards it.

Eleven determines it's a trap to lure them in after discovering Billy sitting by himself in his room. Eleven recalls viewing her mother's memories and knows she can use Billy in a similar way to locate the origins of the Mind Flayer. Eleven disappears into the void, telling Mike she will be okay. Billy shows her the items owned by the townspeople and the physical form of the Mind Flayer before she is sent back in time to a recollection of a young Billy and his mother on a California beach. Eleven is walking towards a storm that is rolling in with red lightning flashing. Horrifyingly, Hopper gives the Hawkins National Laboratory personnel Bauman's number at the end of his call, alerting them about the Russian threat and directing them to contact Sam Owens for support.

Eleven recalls Neil Hargrove berating Billy for his shortcomings and mistreating his wife, which made her leave him and Billy, during the storm. Billy, who is now a teenager, abuses other kids and meets little Max. As Eleven comes onto Brimborn Steel Works in the storm's eye, she hears Billy yelling and tells her pals about it. When she emerges from the nothingness, she finds the cabin abandoned and the lights flickering. It is then that she sees the Mind Flayer in Billy's body, indicating that she is still in the void. The Flayed, now composed of several dozen individuals, awaken in the midst of the Fourth of July festivities.
