Stranger Things Season 1episode 8


Stranger Things' eighth and final episode of the first season is titled "The Upside Down." The Duffer Brothers directed it, and Paul Dichter wrote the screenplay as well. The entire season debuted on Netflix on July 15, 2016, including this one.

Joyce Byers, who is furious that her son's murder was staged, sits down with Martin Brenner at Hawkins National Laboratory. Connie Frazier threatens to kill Jim Hopper and stage a drug overdose in order to question and stun him repeatedly. In an attempt to get them to forget about the lab's illicit activities in exchange for their freedom to explore the Upside Down and locate Will, Hopper makes a deal. Nancy Wheeler and Jonathan Byers lay many traps for the Demogorgon within their home, and Jonathan forges a weapon out of a baseball bat and several nails. Joyce Byers and Jim Hopper making their way to the gate Brenner accepts Hopper's offer if he forfeits Eleven, and Hopper complies.

While being questioned at Hawkins Lab, Hopper is able to bargain with Brenner. In return for disclosing Eleven's whereabouts, he and Joyce are permitted to enter the Upside Down in an effort to save Will. In the town library of Upside-Down, they discover Will unconscious. They extract a tendril from his throat, give him CPR, and bring him back to life. 

After setting up a booby-trap in the Byerses' house, Nancy and Jonathan cut their hands to draw the monster in with their blood. When Steve gets there, he plans to apologise to Jonathan for their altercation, but the beast attacks. After setting off the trap, the monster returns to the Upside Down. In the middle school, Eleven and the lads take refuge. Mike gives Eleven a kiss and invites her to the Snow Ball, a school event. When the military storms the school to retake Eleven, she kills them and then passes out from exhaustion. The monster assaults Brenner as he cradles her, seemingly killing him. Eleven is hidden by the males in a classroom. Eleven pins the monster against a wall as it corners them. She breaks the creature apart, bids Mike farewell, and disappears. Will gets admitted to the hospital.
