Stranger Things Season 1episode 6


The sixth episode of the first season of Stranger Things is titled "The Monster." The Duffer Brothers directed it, and Jessie Nickson-Lopez wrote the script. The entire season debuted on Netflix on July 15, 2016, including this one.

In the shadows, a distraught Jonathan searches for Nancy, but Steve is also searching for her. Joyce and Hopper learn the truth about the experiments conducted in the lab. Storyline Nancy Wheeler, trapped in the Upside Down with the Demogorgon, narrowly escapes by following the voice of Jonathan Byers to a nearby gate, whereupon he pulls her through, and the two watch in horror as the gate closes on itself. Tommy Hagan and Carol Perkins make fun of Steve Harrington when he brings them over to check on Nancy since he is worried about her weird behaviour from earlier. He finds Nancy's bedroom, where Jonathan is hugging her. Joyce Byers is told by Jim Hopper about his observation of a child's room at Hawkins National Laboratory. Joyce compares his more thorough description with Will's chamber and realises it was not his.

Nancy is saved from the monster by Jonathan, who pulls her back through the portal. She begs him to spend the night with her, clearly traumatised by the encounter. Afterwards, Steve believes they are dating after he sees them cuddling through her bedroom window. Nancy and Jonathan decide to destroy the creature and get items from a store that sells surplus army equipment. There, Steve and his friends approach them, leading to a fistfight between Steve and Jonathan, the latter of whom unintentionally strikes a police officer and is taken into custody.

After being knocked unconscious by Eleven, Lucas becomes enraged with both her and Mike, announcing he will go looking for Will on his own. To no avail, Dustin attempts to persuade his pals to resolve their differences amicably. In the interim, Hopper visits Joyce and tells her everything he has discovered thus far. The two understand that while the youngster in the lab is not Will, he or she is definitely related to the case. They locate Terry Ives, who is being cared for by her sister Becky and is catatonic. Becky reveals that Terry participated in Project MKUltra experimentation when she was secretly pregnant and thought Brenner had abducted her daughter Jane at delivery. Hopper and Joyce determine that Eleven is probably Jane. Eleven steals from Eggo.
